

This is something the PR Team has wanted to implement since forever but we now finally found a technical way to actually implement it in a proper way. Furthermore, we added a subtle optional focus effect to our ironsight weapons. These advances for widescreen support have been achieved by Ekiso of the Forgotten Hope 2 development team who kindly shared them with us.

Not only did we overhaul the style of in game menus, but also changed the HUD to properly support widescreen resolution and not stretch across entire screen. In our continued effort to modernize the old Battlefield 2 platform, this release sees some incredible improvements to the ingame menus and HUDs.

As stated in our end of the decade review we posted late last year, we are far from done with PR:BF2 development and today we want to show some of our work in the first big release of 2021.
